Guest Posting Guidelines

Combat Mindset welcomes unsolicited articles and blog posts.

What kind of content will we accept? Anything that’s useful for our readers is good content for a guest post here. It can be related to personal development, self defense, personal protection, fitness or life in general.

It can be opinionated or news and it can also be from your own personal experiences.

Your post must be on one of the following topics:

  • Personal Growth
  • Development
  • Leadership
  • Training (MMA, Strength, mental prep)
  • Self Defense
  • PSA Topics
  • Public Safety
  • Community Awareness

Your post cannot be an advertisement for your product.
However, we may have a sponsorship available if you’re interested.

Guest Post Guidelines

  • Your post must be original and not have previously been published either on the Web or in print.
  • You agree not to publish it anywhere else, including your own website. You may, however, post a brief summary on your site that links to the post.
  • You can include one link in the byline, which will be displayed at the bottom of the post.
  • Your post should be at least 500 words long and no more than 1,000 words. The exception to this would be thoroughly researched, evergreen content.
  • You agree to share the post, at a minimum, 5 times a week for the first month – and once a month thereafter for the first 6 months.

  • If necessary, we’ll copy-edit your post for grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc. In the rare case where we make massive changes, our team will email the post back to you for your approval before posting.
  • We may provide a short introduction or conclusion to your post to provide context or the rationale as to why we think the post is important.

These all contain some tips to maximize your post and your chances of us publishing it.

I understand the work that it takes to write an article. However, just because you have written a post and submitted it to us does not obligate us to publish it. The only guest posts we’ll publish are those that value to our readers. If your article is approved, we’ll send you an email with the anticipated publish date. If it’s not approved, we’ll send you an email with the reason(s) why.

Either way, because of the amount of interest emails we get, it may take our team 2 weeks or more to review your submission. To send your inquiry, please complete the form below.
